How do I become a member?

What are the membership fees used for?
Membership fees fund AMO’s self-sustaining business projects, program development, and the establishment of prayer and community spaces — helping us grow without reliance on donations.

How do I know where my contributions are going?
All contributing members have full access to AMO’s detailed financial statements. Simply request them by email, and you’ll see every transaction related to your locality.

How much are your membership fees? Our membership fees are currently $10 per person or $20 per family. As we introduce more activities and projects, the contribution amount may adjust to support the growing needs of the community.
Programs and Activities

Do you offer Friday (Jumu'ah) prayers?

Not yet. In Phase Two of AMO’s development, we will begin holding Jumu'ah prayers at designated spaces. Details will be shared with members and the broader community.

What types of programs do you offer?
We will host a variety of programs, including spiritual gatherings, educational workshops, youth activities, mentorship opportunities, fitness programs, community outings and outreach initiatives in partnership with other nonprofits. -
Is AMO involved in political activities?
No. AMO does not promote, endorse, or align with any political party. Our focus is strictly on spiritual growth, community service, and building personal connections.

Yes! In Phase Three, AMO plans to build or purchase a permanent center with a prayer hall, classrooms, and gathering spaces for all members of the community.

Phase One: Create sustainable income streams so AMO can thrive without relying on constant fundraising or donations. During this phase, we will host community programs and forge partnerships with local nonprofits to expand vital resources and services for our members and attendees.

Phase Two: Secure welcoming spaces for Jumu'ah prayers and launch impactful community initiatives that strengthen our bonds and uplift our members and attendees.

Phase Three: Build or purchase a permanent community center — a true home where we can pray, learn, serve, and grow together as a united American Muslim community.

Our vision is to lay a foundation that will serve generations to come — a foundation rooted in faith, built through action, and sustained by the unity and dedication of our people.
